the women whom had curly colored hard
This art is about cutting a picture from the magazine and pasting it on a brand new sheet of paper to finish it. I looked up for models with strong facial expressions to give my art intensity. then when i found my picture i brainstormed on differnet looks, i could imagine this picture like when its finished. finally it came to drawing the bird women. since i wanted to take the picture to another dimension of fantasy, flying was perfect for it. i colored it with diferent vibrant cryons for the feathers which are the hair. then i tried black for the body so that the feathers would highlight the whole time you stare at it. it is reaching out because it is about to fly. i believe it is every humans secreat dream to fly, so i expressed it.
This type of art is very helpful because it leads you to actually use your imagination to create a piece of art. it helps you express something and using real pictures to compliment it. you can employ different techniques; all type of art can be applied to it. this project is very fun you can really relate it to reality because its like a division between reality and fiction. The interesting part of this project is that it actually sends a message probably you can guess what a person thinks like when it observs the real world. it is more of a critical thinking but represented in a drawing.

If the trees would talk, how many stories would they hold?
During this year i have been working on my sketches and ive done several things that inspire me. this idea came to me by watching Pocahontas a movie about nature. so the idea basically is how many times have we run on to tree and never imagine how long has it been alive?. they can tell and narrate probably all of our history which is the esence of the title. i used markers to emphasize the different colors. it has a funky type of trunk and branches because it dances to rythm of the life of humans life choices. Its about creating an ilusion of a tree that is painted with every single color it has exist troughout history.
Basically the reflection is that drawing helps you become a better artist becomes your constantly working out your imagination. Art and the thing people draw for fun can always be analyzed. sometimes there is a story behind a simple circle. people unconciusly express themselves through drawings and they draw a symbol of something major. The whole drawing is a symbol for change, hope and destiny. but it speaks up for protecting nature; cause its a priceless treasure.

Give the World a Smile
This project is done with recycled material completly. it was for extra credit and i decided to brain storm what the world is in need of. i analyzed major issues and decided that we have all become selfish because a smile can make a better day; but we have come to be angry at life. people prefer war than peace; people prefer to scream violent words than smile. so this project had the purpose of me being creative to create a recycled piece of art and reflect a major issue. i used carboncillo, markers, used cardbored, news paper, plain box and stapler. when i wanted to emphasize expressions i used the technique of shadows. also i tried to express necessity through the hands. the compliment of the newspaper its because its urgent.
The messeage it has is that smiling is the best way of giving life a reason to move on. a smile is what this world needs to surpass those events that we suffer now a days. a smile is the reason why someone can have a better day. a smile is the way to show others that even in bad times we should stick together. a smile is a way of moving others. so what this reflects is put a smile in your face and so will others do.
